Maho no Mori

Maho no Mori is a 2D Pixel Platformer, in which you travel through a magical forest. This game was created for the HTK Academy.

Features 6 different levels with a changing atmosphere for every level. Each level plays in a different time of day.

Story:

After going to bed, Miwa awakes in a forest, which she never saw before. It looks different, because this forest suffers from a curse, sickening the trees, bushes, vines and scaring away any animal that comes close to it.

After discovering the forest, Miwa makes her way to save it, hoping to get back home soon. 

She comes across mystical creatures called Kappa. These creatures are Yokai from japanese folklore, typically mean and brutal to humans, but since Miwa is thier only hope left, they will help her.

Miwa makes her way through the forest and collects bottles and bowls filled with magical water to heal trees, bushes and vines.

A, D / Left Arrow, Right Arrow - Walk left + right

W, S / Up Arrow, Down Arrow - Look up + down

Space - Jump

E - Interact

Left Shift, Right Shift - Sprint

Gamepad:

Left Stick - Walk left + right

Right Stick / D-Pad Up, D-Pad Down - Look up + down

South Button - Jump

East Button - Interact

West Button / Left Shoulder, Right Shoulder - Sprint
